The museum curator Lorna, works with teachers and administrators to design experiences that will match the age groups and learning objectives of the students. Often, this will include a guided tour of the building, explanation of each exhibit and a demonstration of selected artifacts. Thoughtful, hands-on activities such as crafts and games are also planned. Lorna is passionate about creating engaging experiences that are relatable to students and the Lytton area.

Students will see artifacts, archives, and building. Learning may include information about the experiences, hardships, and contributions made in BC’s Interior by thousands of Chinese miners, railway workers, merchants, and farmers.

This tour is typically 40 minutes to 1 hour in duration. The cost is $3 per person and any size school group is welcome. Throughout the year individuals can contact us directly to set up a time to have students visit.
